About Dr. Jacoby

Carol Jacoby has been active in ITS since 1992. Her expertise is in the critical early phases of ITS system development. As the system architect for the Hughes Team, she was a key contributor to early development of the National ITS Architecture. The farsighted concepts of the Hughes approach are just now coming to fruition in the Vehicle- Infrastructure Integration (VII) initiative. She has taught Systems Engineering for the Federal Highway Administration, the University of California, Irvine, UCLA’s Technical Management Program and Raytheon.
